Did you know that Richmond has its own vibrant community of social entrepreneurs? Like every other city in America, Richmond faces a plethora of social challenges. Luckily, there are action-oriented individuals around town who see these problems as opportunities. From taking a stand against food deserts in Richmond to training and molding the next generation of community leaders, their purpose for starting businesses and spearheading initiatives is to provide solutions.
We are excited to host this event at Highland Park’s new Six Points Innovation Center, a hub for teen-focused programs and activities. We have partnered with Capital One and Storefront for Community Design to help bring the amazing work of our local social entrepreneurs into the spotlight. At this month’s Salon, we will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about their work and discuss how social entrepreneurship has been breaking barriers and innovating right here in RVA!
Join us on May 31st to view social entrepreneurship through a local lens. Click the link to register and reserve your spot. Doors open at 6pm and the event promptly starts at 6:30pm.
