About the Event

For the second year, TEDxYouth@RVA was one of hundreds of Youth events happening as a part of TEDYouth Day 2015. The goal of this event was to inspire the youth of Richmond and create a drive for action amongst them. A diverse selection of speakers contributed to the theme, “Made in the Future”. Today’s youth will soon have the opportunity to be a driving force behind change and development in their communities. We hope that this event was a kickstart for that change.

About the Organizers

Presented by a group of students and teachers from RVA, the Greater Richmond, Virginia area who believe in the power of ideas worth spreading. Guided by Andy’s vision as our curator, we are committed to organizing TEDxYouth@RVA, an event that will engage our audience in imagining new possibilities and will bring fresh perspectives and ideas to our community. Our goal is to build an event that speaks to and represents the diverse youth of Richmond. Only by pursuing a vision of collaboration and inclusion will we insure the success of TEDxYouth@RVA.
