Dustin Klein & Alex Criqui | Multi-Media Artists
Dustin Klein and Alex Criqui are the two people responsible for the projections on the Robert E Lee Monument during the Black Lives Matter Protest in Richmond Virginia, 2020. Their aim is to re-contextualize the monument beyond what some considered a symbol of white supremacy. Dustin is a concert lighting designer and projectionist, and Alex is a journalist and historian. The two thirty-three year-olds have been friends since high school. Currently, the team is pursuing another large visual art project related to social justice protests.
